Can I get in-app purchases to link to another Google account?

In the Google Play Store, I can select either of my two Google Accounts to pay for and download apps, which works great. For in-app purchases, however, my phone defaults to whichever Google account is first alphabetically. As I only have two accounts, the only way to make the purchases is to delete the account that comes first and then make the purchase. The problem is that once I add the other Google account back, the purchases disappear from the app until I delete the account again. Is there any way to change the Google account that the app checks for the in-app purchases?
