Can I get rid of the arrow that appears over custom icons in the new android update?

AC Question

I have an LG K10 and about over a month ago, I updated to Nougat. With the previous version, I was a huge fan of the fact that I could customize app icons so they were pictures or in my case, transparent png's so I could see my background better. Ever since the update, there is an annoying arrow in a circle that appears near the bottom with icon. It isn't the custom icon app I'm using and it isn't because of the transparents, I tested both those theories and found that it's just the phone. I got so desperate to get rid of it that I even tried to go back to the old version (my laptop crashed every time though lol).
If anyone knows of a way to possibly change this, or even if you have any ideas, please let me know.
