Can I get some help updating Google Play services?

[AC Question]

Updating google play services

Hello I'm running viper 3.1.4 Jelly bean rom
everything was fine until the latest google play services update
after the update :

google apps are crashing
google now shows sign in error
play store shows connection error
Sync problems with "people details" not able to sync

& I've tried everything from clearing cache & data to Flashing another Rom (CMJelly bean & viperS 5 kitkat rom)

Nothing works Help!

p.s nothing is wrong with my google account i tried using it on another device with no problems

I have a similar issue with google play store, keeps crashing and sending reports still no fix. I have checked online and tried everything. I noticed similar complaints on forums as far back as 2013. This is very odd. Google please do something!!

Have you tried signing out of your Google Account on your phone and signing back in?

I have done this severally, including clearing cache, force stop etc. Nothing is working, it's working fine on my tab tho. Very odd.

Sorry was looking under play store. The play services version is 7.3.29

Latest version is 7.5.xx. There's a trick to force Play services to update. Go to Play store and download Android Wear. Once installed the GPS should update automatically after a little while. When done you can uninstall the Wear app if you're not going to use it.
