Can I get some help with my Nexus 4 power button issues?

nexus 4 power button issues

when I press the power button on my nexus 4, running 5.1.1, it restarts my phone. just tapping it to put it in standby or bring it out of standby does this. so I basically cannot use my phone....side note, the phone went in my pool and I had to replace the battery about a month ago to make it work again, not sure if that is the reason or not.
is the button broken?

I haven't experienced that problem. Sometimes when I press the power button the Power Off notification comes up, but it doesn't reboot my phone automatically. Sounds like something else is going on.
