I have had an app called Automatic Call Recorder on my Samsung and now on my MotoG4plus for several years. This is a Google store approved app but being there are several android apps with the same or similar names I am not sure if I have the same as yours. So my suggestions are based on the app I am using.

If you check the root directory of your internal storage you may see a folder called "Call Recordings". In there you will have a separate folder for each day that you had any calls. Each of those folders has the calls that were recorded on that day as AMR files. I don't know if they will still be there if you uninstall the app.

I should add that if you choose to save a call within the application it is saved in another location and I have been unable to find that location.

I would also note that I used the settings configuration in the app to store my calls on my SD card but even though it shows that the calls are saved the they are not. They are still saved in the default location.

I have contacted the developer on another issue and he was very responsive and helpful. I will be contacting him on this issue.

I hope this helps you.

You should have them saved in your cloud account or Dropbox. If that is the way your ACR setting ws before you uninstalled

How you contacted the developer? Is there is any email address? Kindly share it

This is basically a problem about data recovery. If you cannot find the recording files after uninstalling, they may have gone. Depending on the storage location (internal or SD card), you may try phone data recovery app (rooting required) or file recovery software. The chance of recovery is not very high, especially after some time.

Hi, have you heard anything from the appliqato developer on this?
I am facing a similar problem. My phone had to be factory reset due to a hardware failure.
I forgot to back up my call recordings that are very precious to me due to the personal value associated. I had saved the files in the appliqato app itself.

would be great if you or the developer or anyone can shed some light here. Need help please!

Regards,
Shraddha

So, I managed to successfully locate and download the Call Recorder recorded call files that were saved on my Samsung Galaxy 5 android phone. Here is how you can do it too!

Using a USB data cable, plug your Android phone into a PC computer (running Windows 10).

The Directory of your phone should come up on the PC — if not, open the directory window for the phone.

Look at these nested folders:
Your_PC > MODEL_OF_YOUR_PHONE > Phone > CallRecordings

All of the saved recorded calls will be in the "CallRecordings" folder, broken up into several dated folders (each folder will have one day’s worth of calls in it). The phone calls will be tagged IN and OUT for incoming and outgoing calls.

The Call Recorder app will only record calls for 10 days before it starts erasing over the older files. So, do a call recordings backup every week (or more often) so as to keep any important calls. I also noticed that a few much older calls were had been saved (and weren’t recorded over — I do not know why). If you are looking for some of your older calls, you might get lucky.

You can click on the individual Call Recording files and open them up to listen to them. The default audio program that my PC used was called “Groove Music” and the calls played fine.
