Can I resolve microphone conflicts?

I have Assistant.ai on my phone. I also have MOSALingua and Duolingo installed for language study. My problem is that if I have Assistant listening in the background for its activation phrase, it interferes with the microphone functions of the other two apps. I have looked in Tasker, Automate and E-Robot for a way to give microphone control to a specific app, with no luck. Does anyone know if there's a way to do this? I'd like to give mike control to MOSALingua or Duolingo when they have focus and return control to Assistant when they lose focus.
