Can I stream on Twitch using an android (s8+) with OBS on a MacBook Pro?

I've got an s8+ and I'm trying to stream PUBG mobile but every casting app I have tried so far is just whack. Do I need cable connection from the phone to the MacBook? Do I need a screen mirror app? Does it even work on MacBooks?
