Can I use Cyanogen Mod?

I downloaded GooManager, not real sure how to get to that screen though

EDIT: I followed a walk through for installing TWRP. I rebooted in recovery and am now stuck at a screen that has a Droid and underneath it it says " Downloading, Do not turn off target!!"

EDIT 2: So it got stuck at that screen and all I could do was pull the battery. Everything still boots up fine, but I can no longer boot into recovery without the phone getting stuck on the Downloading, do not turn off target screen.

EDIT 3: BIG PROBLEM. I can no longer start my phone. It just boots right to the download screen.

EDIT 4: Found a workaround using the option for booting into a custom OS and then cancelling. I think I'm done with this stuff. I can't even find a way to back up my phone without nearly bricking it

Here's what the recovery window should look like. Perhaps someone else here can offer some assistance that may have your specific phone.

So I can backup my Stock Firmware using TWRP in case I want to go back to Touch Wiz?

Should be the first thing you do after installing the recovery program. It will save you a lot of future headaches.
