Can I use my 4G data on my cell while streaming to Chromecast from DSL?

Hi.
I recently bought a second generation HDMI Chromecast. I don't watch TV but I wanted to watch YouTube and Netflix from the bed on a big screen, so I ended up buying a 24 inches Philco.

I installed and configured the Chromecast device without problem, it is currently the only source the TV is feeding from.
Both YouTube and Netflix works really well, I am impressed, but I also can see it's using a lot of bandwidth compared to "before", specially on 1080p YouTube videos.

Since I have a 6mb DSL, the internet on both the phone and computer kinda keeps lagged while it's streaming, and even when I stop it I have to wait one or two minutes the internet to work ok.

I understand it's streaming on a bigger screen, passing through the Chromecast, using the phone as a remote; there's a lot of things involved compared to when you watch a video on a browser in the computer or the phone; so, I would like to know if there is a way to make use of the 4G data plan I have, so at least I can use the phone with internet, so if I use it while I'm watching something on the TV, it doesn't "take" bandwidth from the wifi it is using to stream.
My phone it's a Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime.

Hope I was clear enough, thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, your DSL connection is most likely a 6Mbps (megabits per second) connection, not 6mb (megabytes). The established way to designate bandwidth data rates is based on Mbps.
If you did have that 24MBps DSL connection (eight bits = one byte) and you were having those lags that would indicate there is some issue going on with your home network but it does sound like it's just a matter of available bandwidth. According to Netflix's recommended rates (Youtube is more or less similar),
3.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for SD quality
5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality
25 Megabits per second - Recommended for Ultra HD quality
you might want to think about just lowering the viewing resolution rates to meet your bandwidth. You could go through the process off setting up a WiFi hotspot on your J2, re-connect your Chromecast to that SSID instead, and use your 4G connection but don't forget about the how much data you'll be using, unless you have a real unlimited plan (as opposed to the 'unlimited but actually data capped' plan some carriers tag as 'unlimited').
