Can I use my Galaxy S8 as an Ethernet modem?

I have plugged a USB C ethernet adapter into my phone and used it to get LAN access at work and such.
My question is, is there a way to do the opposite? Use my phone's data and share it to another device by a USB ethernet adapter instead of Wi-Fi or usb tethering?

It is mainly used to copy files to external storage such as a flash drive but also ... The Ethernet adapter will transmit the signals over the network.
