Can motorala admiral work on wifi alone?

Hi!
I'm looking for a cheap android phone for use as an mp3 player and ebook reader for when i'm too lazy to bring my Polaroid.(plus it's kind of awkward walking around town with my ten inch tablet.) and I was wondering is it worth ti? do I need a plan, or can I just simply use it as I use my tablet?

Yes. It works fine on wifi alone. Allows you do all the Motorola updates, etc. I have one that I've been using to watch Netflix.

The Admiral is a Sprint device therefore it has no SIM card. So, the short answer.... yes wifi will work.
