Can not go into emergency or recovery mode

I have had my Optimus V for a year. Today when I plugged the charger it started a boot loop where it did not go beyond the LG logo screen. Then I went into emergency mode and followed the procedure described here:

I think I have installed software for optimus m into my phone. It does not show anything but a blank screen now. I tried many button combinations but they didnt work. Do I need to replace my phone now?

It has worked for me twice. Once to unbrick from zv9 bad update and then to go back from zv9 to zv5.

if you cannot get into emergency mode with the normal buttons, try volume down and the camera button and plug in usb, if you hear a sound your good to go. If you don't hear a sound check lgnqpst to see if it worked. You should see a something that says unknown, or vm670.

-_- Never flash firmware from another phone onto your phone unless you know what you are doing... you will need the Optimus V bin (which I have) and LGNPST to unbrick this. You will, most likely, never get data on your phone again...unless you can miraculously recover the AAA/HA keys.

It maybe possible if he still has the nv file created by lgnqpst.

Do you mean I will never be able to save anything? Anyway, thanks to you guys, it is unbricked now but it does not receive any signal other than wifi and the meid is zeroed. What should I do now?

instructions are for the marquee, but i assume it would work if one had the vm670.dll... sammyz?...

What did you do?

Sammyz knows more, but did you use the VM.dll file, and did you use the PRL?
