Can only open some pics in gmail

Some pics that come through gmail have a ? where the pic is and I can't open. Can anyone help?

I haven't seen this issue. I'm looking for a solution. Is it a .jpg attachment or an embedded html image? I know this sounds silly but have you tried a battery pull and then reopening the email?

i have the same issue.. i can display images for embedded HTML.. but for actual attachments.. getting the "?" and an outline of the picture too..

Ive messed around and it happens in gmail and pop3 email...
