Can someone explain to me?

So, I thought I would try out aospCMod this morning, then decided not to, and to go back to my nandroid that I had. So, when I went back, not I am missing about 10megs on my phone. Why is that?

hmm im not a huge fan of nandroid backups. i only did one right after i rooted for that safety net. but maybe you should try clearing data and cache and then do the nandroid restore. just a thought

I actually figured it out, for some reason Netflix became corrupt when I restored it, and was showing at 17megs!!

I uninstalled, and reinstalled, and now it is showing 7megs, and working.

uh oh. my netflix is showing at 25 MB. still works perfectly though so i wont mess with it.

i WAS wondering why the apk was so small but the actual app was huge haha

It's the lib files, if you uses link2sd, you can get it down to about 6 megs

this is true. been using it for more than a month now.

its definately daily driver status. as long as you dont need the headset mic or bluetooth earpiece. thats about all thats not working with it.

it has a bug where it drains battery quicker on wifi than other ROMs. but if your on wifi, your probably at home, and if your at home, the phones probably plugged in. so this also isnt a big deal.


also, netflix worked better for my on AOSP then it did on any 2.2 rom. Performance as a whole, of the entire phone, was improved with aospcm7 over any 2.2 rom.

cant deny the cool new features google added, the cut and paste and text editing improvements are. well, there improvements to 2.2, so obviously its better.

also its updated pretty regularly and im willing to bet the very few bugs it has left will be taken care of before the month is over.

This is why I switched back, I had it running for about 3-4 weeks, but I need a BT ear piece
