can someone help me with my lg optimus plus

ok so i have a rooted lg ms695 (optimus plus). i tried to upgrade my phone to 5.0 lollipop. its currently at 2.3 gingerbread. i followed a post to upgrade it and i did everything it told me to. but i dont get what it means when it says copy the rom.zip file i downloaded to my sd card. the only files it told me to download were .rar files

RAR and Zip are two different ways to compress files and keep a bunch of them together as one file.

If the process calls for a zip file (some need the zip file, some need the files inside the zip file), make a folder on your PC (on your desktop is fine), extract all the files from the RAR file, then make a zip file of them. Put that on your SD card. (Then you can delete the RAR file and everything in the folder but the zip file, in case you mess up and need it again.)

If it requires that you extract the files, just extract them from the RAR files.

(Evidently, some people think that an RAR file and a zip file are the same thing, or that "zip" means "a compressed bunch of files, using any method, including RAR" - it doesn't. And there was a LONG legal fight about it that eventually [no proof, but I'm sure of it] cost someone his life.)

Ok i tried what you said and when i click to install from my sd card it says Installation aborted. No files found

yes im sure. that is what the post is about. it tells me to download 3 seperate rar files and this is the rest.
To combine 3 parts files : put all the parts into the same folder, then double click on ROM-Part1.rar, all the other parts will unpack and combine automatically. If any problem with the ROM, maybe because the ROM have corrupted during the download process, you can try to re-download the ROM.

2. Install the ROM Manager on your LG Optimus M Ms695 . Get it from Google Play Store, then install the clockwork mod recovery. You also can use ROM Installer application from JRummy Apps Inc.(Get it from Google Play Store).

3. Connect your LG Optimus M Ms695 to your PC employing the USB information cable. Copy the “ROM.zip” file you downloaded to the SD memory card.

4. Restart your device in the recovery mode using ROM Manager. As soon as in Recovery Mode, go to ROM Manager and select backup/restore to back-up your information.

5. From the Recovery Menu do a total data erase (including Delvik Cache). When completed, go back to Recovery Principal Menu and choose Flash ROM from SD Card. Navigate the location you copied the ”ROM.zip” file and follow the directions for installing Android 5.0 Lollipop on your LG Optimus M Ms695 . As soon as the installation is over, just reboot your LG Optimus M Ms695 device, and here you go, you’ve just upgraded it to the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.

bro he intentado bajar la rom de ese link podrias subirlo a mega los archivos para ver si me jala tengo el lg ms695
