will the gaming on andriod ever live up to the gaming of the iphone or palm pre.
They have so many awesome 3D games and these would be awesome on the upcoming dell streak
But will it ever happen.

The love making money. Being on the iPhone, which is (as of now) a much larger platform than Android, makes business sense. If you have a fixed amount of time and money to make a game that you are gonna charge $5 for, you want the largest audience. Right now, that means iPhone. As Android gains more and more marketshare, you will see this change.

And, btw, welcome to capitalism =P

WebOS is better for games than Android is. Just a fact at this point.

don't think so, 3D emulation is much more complex than 2D. But there are emulators out there for pretty much every 2D system, NES, SENS, Genesis, GB & GBC etc

Porting the game over to webOS is very easy for the developers. Palm states that it can be done in 7 days.

For Android, I'm sure they have to start from scratch and with the fragmentation problem of Android, it makes things more troublesome.

However, I hope that WVGA games become more popular.
