Can the S2 Replace Your Smartphone?

I've spent an inordinate amount of time researching the cellukar version of the S2. WRT my daily device usage, the only thing it seems to lack, as compared to my Galaxy S5, is the camera.

For browsing, I use my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4". It therefore seems possible that the S2 can replace my stand-alone cell phone in daily use -- with the exception of the camera.

Has anyone tried going "Solo S2"?

My daughter has been rocking her silver S2 3G while leaving her inherited note2 at home. Seems pretty successful but says replying to texts can be cumbersome.

I would imagine that it depends on the user. Can it be done? From what I know about it ... yes. Would *I* want to do it ... nope.

I use my S2 as an add-on convenience to my phone and don't ever see it replacing my phone. Even my Note is too small for some things that a computer is more suitable for. But some people like small screen, I think it depends strictly on your own personal needs.

I love my Galaxy S5, but for browsing I use my Tab S 8.4" tablet. The only time I browse on my phone is when I'm stuck in a line, or somewhere without wifi.

I've ordered the S2. I suspect my S5 phone will end up staying in the car/office most of the time, and I will be exclusively "in touch" via the smartwatch -- but time will tell.
