I currently have the Moto Z Force phone and am going to be switching to AT&T so I'll have to trade in my current phone for an S8.

On the Moto Z Force there's an app called Moto Voice which will answer calls and texts while driving. Is there a similar app or feature on the S8 that will do this?

Anything moto do, Sammy do better, anything Moto do, Sammy do too.... Like the old song "Anything you can" do etc etc ;-)

Hopefully that's the case. While Motorola can answer calls or texts while driving, a bug causes the speaker phone to always be on after answering calls until the phone is restarted.

I think the att drive app that comes on the phone does what you want. I've never used it though so I'm not 100% sure.

A Samsung flagship phone and Tasker can do just about anything. (Well, maybe not cook dinner, unless they put a microwave oven on the IoT.)

If your car doesn't have Android Auto built into its head unit you can still install AA and run it on the phone as a standalone app. I'm not sure what the capability is of answering phone calls (using your voice) while driving, because I always use the phone call button on my steering wheel to answer phone calls and it is integrated into my radio via the AA app. However, I believe the AA texting by voice feature (and reading texts back to you) should work in AA mode.

Samsung has a Car Mode app from the Galaxy Store made by Samsung. I don't really use it though.
