Can u: Send a picture from within the camera (display)

I swear I could do this before I had to perform a Reset (to resolve the issue of Editing the email Signature line), but maybe I am confusing it with my old iPhone.

I take a picture and the image is being displayed on screen - it might have, but I have Not yet gone to the Gallery.

Is there a way of sending/initiating a Send either via email or text at this point, or do I have to initiate correspondence first and then Attach?

If so, could it be that I am storing images on the SD card?
