Can you add new shortcuts to lock screen?

I had 4 icons. I deleted one. So, it's absolutely possible to have 4 icons in Lock Screen. (Don't get the + button too).

I was having the same issue,

Here is what you need to do:

Go to:
settings
Lock Screen
You then have to check the box that says " with swipe lock"
Once you do that the option for Lock Screen options will be unlocked
Once you are done making your changes you can uncheck the box for swipe lock and your home screen changes will still be saved.

Hi, Ive seen lockscreens that let you have 8 slot options (including unlock) this goes around in an entire circle, I only have a semi circle.

how do I find this option, is it an app, it looks like its within the slimbean rom which I have installed.

"Lock Screen" is the screen at: "Settings" -> "Lock Screen"
However, "Lock Screen Options" is not an option if the Lock Screen is defined to be:
PIN
"Pattern",
"Password", or
"None"

In order to see "Lock Screen Options", configure "Lock Screen" to:
Swipe, or
Motion

then you will see "Lock Screen Options"
As said elsewhere, if you have 4 Icons defined, you will not see the "+" sign,
One of the existing icons/shortcuts must be deleted first (press & hold, dragging it to the trash can icon).

Hope this helps (FWIW, my carrier had to call Samsung to get this info for me)..

Thanks for this, after switching it swipe or motion the option is available. I was using the PIN option and could never access the shortcut screen.

Hi
Did you ever get a solution to not having the + sign to add shortcuts to the lock screen on you Samsung S3.
I've got the same problem. I deleted one. Now only have three but the + sign is not appearing.
Thanks

Hi,

I just got a new S3 mini and accidentally deleted one of the icons (before I realized that by pressing it I could easily change the app). Now I too am stuck with only 3 since I do not have a + icon.

I've been searching high and low in GOOGLE, but as of yet I've not seen a solution.

Is there a solution for this? This is definitely a bug, is it not?

Thanks,

Chaim

sometimes it is under security then press screen lock and change it from flick to something else than back it should give you the options again

the exact same thing just happened to me too. you can simply download a lock screen app with more shortcuts...

I did everything written here, still don't have the + sign near short cuts, I have swipe, I have deleted 1 short cut to add another, I have english as my phone setting ...

I have a similar problem, but it's less that I don't get a + sign, and more that I just can't access the menu referenced here. I have a droid bionic on android 4.1.2 I believe, can widgets and such not be added to my lock screen? Thanks.
