Can you customize the lock screen with a passcode?

I'm trying to figure out how to add something there other than a calendar.

You need to go to the settings....device...lock screen and turn on multiple widgets.....there you can customize.

Nope! I actually discovered this today. It has to be unsecured, which is lame!

under select lock screen u can use a numeric pin if thats what u mean

Exactly, that is the handicap of being able to customize the lock screen, you have to have unlocked.... Mine is PIN secured and I am not able to customize it ... so what I responded to the OP was that you can do it only I did not tell him about not being able to use a PIN or PATTERN ............
