Can you silence the LG G6 w/o logging into it?

I had the LG G4, and one of the things that drove me nuts was that you could not silence the phone without actually logging into the phone (entering PIN/password, and then pressing volume). If you were not logged in, you had no control over the volume.

This was a deal breaker for me - does anyone know if it's possible to silence the G6 w/o logging in?

Drove me nuts in the movies/plays, etc.

Welcome to AC forums.

On my V20 if I hit the volume key it goes silent. I'm pretty sure it did it on the G5 as well. I cant imagine it being different on the G6
