Can you swipe up to bring up Google Now?

On Android phones with soft keys, if you swipe up over the home button it brings up Google... Not possible on HTC 10?

On the 10 you just keep your finger on the scanner for about 2 seconds.

Don't think so, but just hold the home button (finger print reader) for a second and Google pops ups. As easy, or easier than swiping up.....

That just brings up the Now on Tap crap

It does for everybody in the newer versions of google. Just tap the G after the now on tap

If you don't mind using an alternate launcher, you can install Nova Launcher and customize a Home button tap (while on your primary homescreen) to bring up Google Now.

That just brings up the Now on Tap crap

no...it's still an option to just bring up google now...just turn off now on tap

go to google setting>>screen search>>turn it off (the first option)
