Can you switch carriers?

Is the S2 3G the same across carriers? I know it uses an eSIM, but can I take an S2 purchased at T-Mobile and use it on Verizon's network? Since the carriers use different HSPA bands, a universal S2 would have all of them.

A T-Mobile phone would not work on Verizon, since it is a CDMA network provider Zander T-Mobile is GSM. Verizon is also very exclusive to the phones allowed on their network, so it would have to be a Verizon phone to do so.

I agree with what BergerKing stated, but also know that just like a cell phone, you have to have it SIM Unlocked in order to move carriers. However, with eSIM's, I am not sure if/how that works.

T-Mobile and AT&T are GSM based carriers
Verizon and Sprint are CDMA Carriers

Unless it is like carriers and the device is unlocked, it won't cross over.
