Can you use a at&t lcd for a T-Mobile phone?

I dropped and broke my screen and LCD on my S6 edge plus. I have to get the LCD back right since all my stuff wasn't backed up. I've been told you can swap the LCD from an at&t phone onto a T-Mobile phone but don't want to spend 200$ on something that doesn't work. Any help?

What won't work, unless you've already installed a few screens on smartphones, is you doing it yourself - so you'll end up with a broken phone and no possibility of getting anything off it. Talk to an independent repair shop and see if they'll do what you need for little enough money that it makes sense for you to do it. (And I assume that you're going to put the screen back on the AT&T phone after you back everything up - and that's another problem.)
