Can you use a stylus on the droid incredible

I read this article which was posted on the evo forum HTC Incredible and EVO 4G to feature new maXTouch sensors – Android and Me

Which allows for stylus usage on the touchscreen. I didn't know if this was true or not, but is it possible to use a stylus on the droid incredible. Thanks.

A stylus will not work on the Incredible.

Well a normal stylus wouldn't work but you can grab yourself a Capacitive stylus like this...

that should work on the Incredible.

Yes I know that any capacitive screen does not work with a stylus on resistive, but the incredible and the evo are supposed to support a whole new type of touch screen. Under the article highlights:

I dont know about that but I have heard (and it even says it in the video I linked) that HTC is planning on making a HTC branded stylus for phones like the Evo and Incredible. It will just be some type of capacitive stylus though.

Very possible, there's no way your fingernail will change capacitance.

Where there's an easy way to find out. Can anyone with the Incredible use the touchscreen with gloves and fingernails?

^ Yes I would like to know if one can use gloves or say long fingernails (not that I have long fingernails I'm a guy, but for all the ladies) on the incredible.

I would try this out for you guys (I have long fingernails) but I think the Verizon store in SoHo is tired of seeing my face every few days. I just go in there to play with their display Incredibles since I can't get mine until I get back to California with my parents.

Nope, fingernails don't work. Wifey tried mine. That's about the 75th time I've handed my new Incredible to my wife to say something like "hey, check out this, and look what this can do..."

I just pulled the stylus out of my old Palm Treo -- did not work on the Inc's screen at all.

Any risk of scratching with these capacitive styli? (doubt it - just thought I'd ask anyway.)

I tried a stylus from an Omina, and that was a No go.
