Can you use Assistant on phone to set an alarm for a specific Google nest mini?

Just wondering as of right now I only have one nest mini and plan on getting more. But can I remotely set an alarm to a specific nest mini from my phone? I have a Pixel 4XL with assistant built in. I use the nest mini I have as an alarm. I don't have a set schedule. My work schedule varies from day to day. So I have to create new alarms daily. If my boss needs me to come in early a different day, can I use the assistant on my phone to set an alarm or change an alarm on my nest mini? Or must it only be done from a nest mini in the home? It would be handy to create or modify an existing alarm right from my phone so I don't forget.

Thanks!
Mel

No, you need to be connected to the network to do this. You can of course remotely connect using Team Viewer or similar but there is no direct way AFAIK

Correct. Unfortunately the ability to control alarms/timers (for some reason) is not available on Assistant unless you're connected to the same network, and using your phone to set it on another device will yield the 'Sorry, I can't do that yet' annoying message.

Well hopefully they add it at some point. If I can turn my TV off from my phone it should be possible to modify alarm too. That was kinda the nice thing about the Alexa (I have fire TV box for my TV which has Alexa built in). You could modify them in the app. ??????
