Like the title says, does this work on a Note 4 on AT&T? Thinking of ditching my 6 Plus for a Note 4 or Nexus 6, but I really like visual voicemail that I don't have to pay for. Thanks!

Yeah, you can use google voice, just go to the google voice website and there will be guide with how to do it. You have to dial a number and it should work, if not you can call att customer service and tell them you want to use google voice and give them your google voicemail number and they will set it up.

No need to use Google voice unless you like using it. AT&T has its own visual voicemail app. Works great, no extra cost. Been available for some time. Had it on my S5 and now on my N4

Thanks for the replies! It was never free on Verizon, so I guess I was assuming it wouldn't be free on AT&T.

I've got to disagree on both the "works great" and "no extra cost." ATT Visual Voicemail is much slower at posting messages than Google Voice, offers fewer features, and to make it worse, requires mobile data and will not work over Wi-Fi. I travel internationally and typically disable mobile data and use Wi-Fi only in some countries. The Visual Voicemail is non-functional for this. Not only does Google Voice handle it, but it lets you make free Wi-Fi calls.

Verizon basic visual voice mail is free on my note 4. It is listed right under the unlimited unthrottled 4GLTE hotspot.

You do have to pay for the premium voice mail though.
