Hey guys,
I've seen a lot of threads where people have successfully and unsuccessfully activated their LG Watch Sport(AT&T) on Verizon.

My question is NOT that....

My question is, whether you can have a Verizon phone and have an LG Watch Sport on AT&T and have them work together (not bluetooth, cellular).

I ask this bc I'm coming from a Samsung Gear 2 in which you could do that. I used to have the watch on T-Mobile and have the phone on Verizon and I was able to call forward from my phone to the watch and use the remote connection technology. Not sure if this watch has that capability or not.

Appreciate the responses in advance.

It should work. If you have a cellular connection with data on the watch, it will communicate with the phone through the Android Wear app on the phone. Any data, Wi-Fi or cellular, connection will work. You might lose the numbersync option for AT&T or the Verizon messages option, but you can forward your calls to the watch. I have an AT&T version LG Urbane 2nd Edition with a Truphone SIM. I forward my calls from my Cricket phone to the watch when I run so I can leave the phone behind. I still get text messages, notifications etc. through the data connection.

Hey mdw1995, thank you so much for the thoughtful explanation and confirmation regarding the functionality of this watch. I appreciate it, and thanks for the info! :-)

Now I just have to figure out if Google is committed to Android Wear anymore or not ;-)
