Can you zoom in a video?

With the default app? No. With some hacking, probably. In fact, even though it would be a 'digital zoom' (aka: crop), you'd probably be able to have the same effect as an actual zoom, because you're not using the cameras full resolution anyway. (I think the main reason why it can't take 8 megapixel film, besides the massive amount of storage, is because the phone can't encode that much data that fast).

I think the reason is that the digital zoom reduces resolution. HD would no longer be HD.

Shouldnt the feature be enabled so the user can decide? The Epic I had allowed this feature and I didn't notice any real reduction in quality.
