Im with Rogers and have no intention of changing as my current plan is just too good, pretty disappointing that the device is carrier exclusive. I have never been an HTC fan, never owned one but liked the design models. Finally theres an HTC device that has impressed me and meets all of my needs, I have an S6 and wanted to make a change this year....dont want an S7 or G5....waiting for the Moto X Pure and Nexus updates, but i've very impressed by the HTC 10. Really disappointed its carrier exclusive.

Anyone else peeved? Anyone considering the switch to Bell to get this phone?

Re: HTC 10 Canada Carrier Exclusive Bell...me=pissed

Well I'm typing this on a Rogers HTC M8 and I was prepared to move to bell to get the M10 but apparently it's going to be sold at S7 prices...I was able to snag the m8 when it was released two years ago at $270.ca subsidised with contract. However, at s7 prices even with contract would mean possible $500.ca...that's a bit too much for me....I'm really upset at this as I love the M8 and the only reason I need an update of because the non removable battery has lost capacity...Nothing concrete posted on line on bell website but all indications pointing to s7 pricing look too be true...😖

Anyone know if the bell version or the unlocked version direct from HTC USA will work on wind mobile?

I see no reason why it wouldn't.

Wind is similar to T-Mobile USA, right?

No good for me. Only Rogers and Telus in my part of the country :/ Was kind of looking forward to the 10 as well!

This phone is going to have the same fate as the xperia z5 with bell. It won't sell well and it will fade away fairly quickly.
Or it could be that the other providers really didn't want anything to do with htc specially since last year's m9 did poorly.

Agree with your first point about same fate as z5 premium. The thing is 10 looks to fix a lot of the problems from M9... Htc is a pretty big name, not sure why all carriers wouldn't support their main device at least.

I'll be waiting to see the new nexus, hopefully Rogers and telus carry it. If its similar design to this phone with stock android bonus.

HTC Canada offering $100 off Unlocked HTC 10 with this promo code | MobileSyrup.com

Still $899 but better than $999.

Ya I saw that but I can't afford to buy a non subsidiary phone...and if htc is making the new nexus I am very excited to see what it's like and wait.

The HTC Nexus will be the 6P on steroids.

Apparently the exclusive is only until July.

I went and looked at Bell. You guys have decent data plans up there compared to the states haha. 15 GB was around $85 a month which isn't bad. I could live with that if I had to (unfortunately I have unlimited data right now).

Im a bit on the fence here as I'm in Canada also and won't be going to bell anytime soon as I'm on rogers so my only option is to either buy it outright with the promotion code or wait to see if rogers decides to carry it after bells exclusivity runs out.if not I'll lose out on the promotion code if they decide not to carry it.rogers use to carry htc but after the failure of the m9 I guess they decided to drop themI've owned every htc m7 m9 and will get a htc 10 no matter what it takes. I also feel 2 month is going to be a longtime for cdn customers to jump on the bandwagon and wait to see if any other carriers will take it on .

Just curious .. Rogers seems more expensive than Bell. Is there a reason you stay with Rogers? I am not in Canada but just curious to learn some about your guys carrier situation.

If you are on a corporate plan at Rogers it is REALLY good value. Otherwise not so much.
