Canada taking pre-orders starting today

Canada is starting pre-orders today for 12/8 release.

Shouldn't we hear something today as well if 12/8 is the date in the US?

Unfortunately, I doubt that is what you'll get.

Something that I think at this point can't be mentioned enough given the attitudes in this part of the forum... Verizon has stated the phone would be released by the end of the year. I think we will see release announcements sometime in mid to late December.

I doubt it to --- no mail on Thursday and I'm sure the Post Office like most gov't agencies are short-staffed this week so you probably wouldn't get it until next Monday at the earliest anyway.

This is a good point.

Bell is CDMA frequency. I am assuming the phone they are getting will be identical to the ones Verizon will be getting.

So this seems like a Verizon hold up for whatever reason.

I am still sticking to they are separating the launches as far out as possible.

Verizon is delaying because they are still busy adding a VZW boot animation to further annoy us.

Verizon will announce it maybe a few days ahead of time. That is how they do things they never announce a release/preorder way in advance.

not really. they announced it and when preorders would be like a week before preorders which is the norm for verizon.
