I am so glad that we're hearing some response of shipping notices!
I hope mine comes in today as I was part of the 1-2 week batch as well.
I phoned up my credit card company yesterday and my authorization for the transaction was done on December 12th at 2:48pm.
My Google Play account is stated as "Pre-ordered" and Wallet account says "Pending".

I finally see a second hold on my CC today. It hasn't been charged yet, and store still shows the status as Pre-ordered.

I really hope there's some movement on my order today. I normally wouldn't be so anxious, but I'm going out of province for the holidays on the 21st and worse, our office is shutting down for over a week so they won't even be able to deliver it if it's after that date.Same here, well, except for the dream part.

My boyfriend said his coworker got a shipping confirmation today as well. I'm not going to credit that as a legit source. But we could hope.
Also, my credit card's available credit went down. So, I think the transaction went through.
I wonder if they're currently processing all of the orders and will ship once all of them have been processed? Doubt it though.

The confirmation email said it can take up to 24 hours to get tracking info updated.

No, I work in an office tower and there's no mailbox. I had it shipped to my office as I'm not home during the day and the receptionist would accept it for me whenever it arrived. I'm just concerned because I don't have much confidence in the common sense of UPS. From what we've read, they don't require a signature and have been leaving packages on front steps etc. Just not sure what they'll do if they come to our office and it's closed. I would hope they wouldn't just leave it outside our reception area, but who knows.
Still nothing on my end. No update via google, as mentioned several times I am in Vancouver and got my order in at 12:02 (pacific) on Dec 3rd. I think V-tech and myself are crushed right now. I woke up and saw an email and got all excited.....it was ncix.com giving me their weekly flyer

I get so pumped everytime I have an email notification, only to be disappointed when it's something like this instead of a shipping notice.

I just got another email, crapped myself, turned out to be rogers trying to get me to buy some magazine....FML and dude we are all losing sleep and our sanity over all this. I can't handle much more of this emotional roller coaster. Everytime an email comes in there is a moment of sheer anticipation, immediately followed by devestation.

Took me 3 hours to fall asleep haha. Although it's partly because of the nasty cold I have and couldn't stop coughing, I still blame the Nexus 4-related stress for some part of it.
So true. I think that I'm in the Process of loosing my mind slowly. Just like you I jump on every email notice on my BB. Truly insane!

CC has not been charged but there IS a discrepancy for the cost of the phone (even though my unbilled deferred amount is $0 -- they usually put holds under this category, no?)
I live in Vancouver as well and clearly ordered before the other two Vancouverites (go west coast!), I'm in the same boat as VTech and ImmenseBrick.
I mean WTH?! Lol. There seems to be NO logical order to this. I wish they sent the phones in regard to need - I hear many of you still have top of the line functioning phones (someone mentioned that this is their 3rd phone...? lol). I've been using a 3GS for 4 years now and it's in absolute shambles. Half the touchscreen doesn't work - none of the hardware buttons work and I have absolutely no reception unless I'm standing outside in a park. Ya. That bad. I'm DESPERATE for this to come in.... ya ya, first world problems... I don't care. I have a lifestyle that includes a functioning smartphone, if that makes me entitled, so be it? I don't know. I'm just sick of using workarounds to send a text, make a call, or check something on the internet (my n4 shipping status maybe? ) I need this phone here now. And Google (and it now seems UPS) are bastards for playing with our hearts like this. ImmenseBrick said it best - such an emotional rollercoaster ending in pure devastation every. single. time.
Google and UPS need to battle it to the death because of this terrible process. With the winner earning a bullet to the head. .... after we all get our phones that is.
