yes, 1-2 weeks, CC charged on 15th, no shipping note yet. I've become so numb, I only check my email every other hour

I get the frustration but it's all about procedure. Imagine how many times people would ask for unique situations for pickups etc. There are too many variables that could cause your package to be stolen. Or for people to try to scam ups. I know this is not the case but they have procedures. I have stood right beside the postal worker at the mailbox and they will not hand me my mail even though they know who I am. They have to put it in my little mailbox and close the door.

Yup.

Contrary to popular opinion (and despite the package already being at that location), it will indeed COST UPS MORE should they comply to your request.

twice through email, but not over the phone. I'm trying to distance myself a bit from all this , so that when it will come (and it will come eventually) bitterness won't overcome the joy

Aaaaaand it's out for delivery. Since 7:56 AM. But with a winter storm like this (in Montreal), I won't be seeing my phone until later tonight. Plus on top of that my last final exam is from 7 PM to 10 PM. It's going to be a loooong day!

Well, I am a 1-2 Week'er here, ordered on Dec 3, 2012 8:03 PM GMT, and I have yet to be charged, yet to receive any shipping info, Wallet is Pending and Play Store is Pre-Ordered with a date of December 14, 2012.

I called the Play Store hotline and have been able to get them to refund my shipping, but am still waiting to hear back from their "Shipping Specialists" to tell me where the hell my phone is!

I am happy for all of you receiving your devices today, just sad that I am not part of that bunch

Oh no everyone, it snowed/is snowing in vancouver. That means everyone is going to crash, including ups trucks. Looks like I will only get nexus 4 in march at this rate

I think that is worse than having to wait an extra couple days. Simply for the fact you have an exam and know as soon as you are back you can get your grubby hands all over that phone. That suspense is worse IMO.
