That is how your package disappears. I wouldn't do it. There are holidays in between. Just let it arrive naturally or you will kick yourself if anything happens.

Are there any lucky Canadians that have 7-8 weeks estimate and have gotten their phones shipped? Last time when I emailed google support, they told me it would be shipped on January 30th, but yesterday when I emailed again, the rep told me this:


The date on the orders page also changed to December 29. Does it mean anything? Is there a hope that it will be delivered sooner than the first rep told me?

@rudeshko - I had 6-7 weeks, and my phone is due to be delivered by end of day on January 9th. There's still hope for you yet

Hello, I'm new and I also ordered a Nexus 4 with a 6-7 week estimate. No shipping email yet, but on the My Orders it shows December 29 as the date. Hope that this is good news.

I'm jealous! Ordered mine December 3rd, at 1:14pm with a 6 - 7 wait period but unlike some of you guys, no email from Google yet.

Mine must be on the same truck. It left Cincinnati at 9:14 am. Scheduled for delivery on Friday. I'm doubtful that it would come earlier because it's still got to go through customs.

Lots of people who were in the 1-2 weeks group received their emails after other people but still got their phones first. I got my shipping email first but was middle of the pack because I am in Vancouver. People on the east coast received theirs in 3-4 days where mine took 7 days.

Just reached Maumee Ohio... that's 5 hours away from me...!

From what it seems, ever time the package makes a stop, it leaves for its next destination in 3 hours... that would mean it should leave Maumee by 3:30pm for most likely Detroit Michigan, from where it will cross the border into Windsor Ontario... hope there isn't any holdbacks...

According to your time listed above, I ordered my phone 3 minutes after you did. I received an email from Google yesterday evening with my UPS tracking number. They charged my credit card on Thursday. On December 3rd when I ordered it, I was given a 6-7 week time frame.
