Cancelling Service within 14 Days

Eight days ago a switched over to Verizon from AT&T purchasing a LG G2 which I love. At the time I made the switch my employer had no discount programs with any providers. However my credit union has a 15% discount with Verizon so I made the switch to save a few dollars. Just today an email came out from our HR department stating they now have a discount with AT&T for 22%. Needless to say I would like to switch back. Since I am with the 14 day period if I cancel my service and return my phone will Verizon release my number back to AT&T? I know I have to pay a restock fee and problem some usage fees. Since I still have my iPhone can AT&T just reactivate the sim card so I can use the iPhone until I can go out and get another LG G2?

Yes you can switch back but I always suggest in the future to ask the new provider for a temporary number than on the 13th day you can cancel or keep the service

What is your data usage? Verizon has a $60/mo loyalty plan including unlimited talk text and 2gb data.

As for your question, yes Verizon would release the line.

I would dump my unlimited data in a heart beat if they would give me the 6GB promo for that price. So worth it.

I doubt it. Some have gotten 6gb for the same $30 as unlimited, but $60 for unlimited talk text and 6gb, I haven't heard of it. Regardless I would never give up unlimited unless they take it by force.

I'm sure they wouldn't so I won't even consider dumping it. 2 GB is too little and I'd always be worried. Not worth it at all.
