Cannot access Storage - Need Help

Just received my new Axon 7 and Im trying to add ringtones to device. I get message "cannot access storage device, unlock screen and plug in usb again"

Im using an iMac - never had this issue on other android devices?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes, It seems the adapter had to be used converting from c type to standard did the trick - Thx
