Cannot clear Kaspersky 'device is protected notification

Hey fellow providers.

I have just installed Kaspersky internet security on my Galaxy S8. There is a notification in that swipe down menu at the top of the screen fro Kaspersky saying 'Device is protected'. I wanted to clear this notification but the 'Clear option is greyed out. The notification is always there and won't go away.

By 'swipe down menu' I mean the one which has the volume, wireless and bluetooth buttons on it. What's it's proper name? I keep forgetting. :/

Unless they provide a way to hide the app then it looks like you'll have that notification in the panel.

That's affirm, it didn't take me too long to realize that I was stuck with the notification as well...

Oh well.... never mind. I have two more now after I installed PIA VPN.
