Finally put my order through although still not able to checkout! Says there was an error, try later! Is this because of the Google store is jam-packed with people trying to order?

Welcome to Android Central! I heard about issues completing orders earlier today as well -- likely due to high traffic. I had no problem ordering my 128 GB black 6 Pro (but all other colors and higher storage versions were already sold out).
