cannot connect my galaxy gear to my note 8.it keeps saying connection failed

When I try to pair up "Galaxy Wearable"shows up. I need Galaxy Gear Manager, Connection failed always shows up.

I don't have an answer for you, just saw how old your post was and how many had viewed it, with no replies, and figured that I'd suggest something.

I hit google and downloaded and installed Samsung Kies (3, Kies and Lite), connected the watch to it via the USB cable connected to the computer (laptop in my case) and the Kies app installed the firmware for the watch. It is read by Gear Wearables app but not sending data to Samsung Health. Still tinkering...
