cannot edit saturation and brightness of pictures on my note 9

I had a note 5 and i could hit edit and adjust brightness, saturation, contrast, etc, but now with the note 9 there are only filters. i do not understand

I don't either, but then I'm not familiar with Samsungs. Are you doing the editing in Google Photos?

Open the picture and then click the three dots at the top and click on open in photo editor pro. More options are there.
