Hi, so I can't get the OEM unlock option to appear on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S8. I've certainly had my phone for more than 7 days, and it has been powered on for way longer than 7 days. I have a gmail account registered on it as well. The only problem is that I can't bypass the problem either, because stupid Verizon overrides the software update screen. Please help!

EDIT: I also have a Samsung account registered.

I moved this from the Oreo forum to the S8 forum for more specific traffic.

What exactly do you mean by OEM unlock option? Unlocking the bootloader? Verizon has the bootloaders on all their phones permanently locked, you can't unlock them. (Even their Google phones have locked bootloaders.) I would expect that to hold true for the S8 as well.

Dang! Verizon really on my nerves sometimes. They're so anti-consumer, that's it's dumb. I found a way to install TWRP without unlocking the bootloader though.
