cannot play video through apps other than YouTube...

Hi,

This has been happening for months now and I'm not sure how it started. Whenever I try to play any video other than through YouTube I get a snowy picture of all different colors. The sound still comes through but that's it. I've tried restarting the tablet several times and tried cleaning the cache on it as well and nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm trying not to factory reset it but I may not have a choice.

Are you talking about streaming videos, or video files saved to the device? If the latter, what format are they in?
