I'm running on AT&T. Phone is fully updated. Cannot receive MMS. Using Google messenger app. What do?

I'm using the ASUS messaging app.
I think it was working before the latest update.
Haven't tried sending an MMS.

Tried disabling wi-fi on the phone to see if I could receive incoming messages no luck there.
I'll try sending a message and see what happens.

Try Textra or Handscent from the Play Store.

It is working now that I switched to Asus messaging app. One issue though, how do I enable group threads?

Group threads don't work on the default messaging app. I switched to hangouts to get group threads.
