Cannot remove slide to unlock on top of existing security settings

Hi, I am not sure what happened however my phone is now displaying the attached slide to unlock screen. When I slide it, it takes me to my existing lock screen where I use either a pattern of finger print. I have tried everything I have read to fix it including re doing my security settings and turning off Google smart lock.

Please help, it's very annoying!

That's some kind of 3rd party app. You had to give permission for this.

Thanks for that. It makes sense, it happened after some apps updated. Any suggestions how to track it down, or when the permissions are visible in settings?

Are you using Plex? I know it caused problems with this even though it's a TV app. As for tracking it down, I would start from Settings/ Biometrics and security/ App permissions or permissions monitor.
