Question Cannot share bank statements

Hi, I'm new here!

I'm using One UI 7.0 on a Samsung ZFlip 5.

My problem is that I have 2 banking apps, Revolut and Trade Republic, that allow me to generate a bank statement in app, but do not allow me to share them. There is a Share function, but it fails for all methods: email, WhatsApp, Print (to paper or PDF), Windows Link, Quick Share, Bluetooth, Save to Google Drive or OneDrive etc. I am guessing there is a security setting for the banking apps, similar to how I can't screenshot.

I have downloaded my bank statements from Revolut website, but Trade Republic does not support this. Best I can manage is to take a screenshot of statement on my PC via 'Link to Windows' but the resolution is inadequate to splice together 10 different pages into a document I can share with the bank for a mortgage application.

I'm prepared if necessary to attempt this via an iPhone (which I know works for Trade Republic) but I've read that Trade Republic may then block my account. I'm prepared to transfer all my funds from Trade Republic, but I will still need historic statements from Trade Republic. Trade Republic appear to have closed their customer support service, which is another good reason to close account

I'm completely stuck.

Any ideas?

I should add they the Apps were downloaded from Play Store and are up to date.

Many banking apps do not allow one to take screenshots for security purposes. That could be the case here. Have you contacted your bank via their customer service?

Thanks for answering Laura. I'm guessing you're correct, although frustratingly the app has a Share function that then doesn't work.

Unfortunately Trade Republic has closed its customer support arm and effectively cannot be contacted, so my short-term aim is to transfer my money out and close my account. But my immediate need is to get a copy of my statements.

Just updated software to latest patch and it's solved the Share problem. All sorted. Sorry for wasting time, but I'm glad to have joined the forum.

Revolut gives you access to statements via website. Trade Republic has a website but you can only get statements via App. And Trade Republic has fired its customer support function. Lesson learnt the cheap way. I'll close the account now.
