Cannot Uninstall an App

Hi,

A family relative has the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. They downloaded this App "WiFi Tether No Root" whether it was off a website or Apptoide, I don't know. Shouldn't really downloading stuff like that in the first place. The app just brings up a load of ads and rude adult content.

They can't uninstall the app, because it says something about Device Administrator. When you go in there and try and deactivate it, it just locks the screen and does nothing. Would appreciate some help please.

Hi

Try booting into safe mode, and see if it can then be uninstalled. Have never tried that, but might work.
