Android Central Question

Samsung galaxy s6. No matter how many times i swipe the green button, or tap it, my phone won't allow me to answer. I even set it up where hitting the home button twice would answer it, but it still won't. I have to wait until the call is missed, then unlock screen, then call the person back. This all started after the most recent update.

I'm having the same problem with an S8... automatic software update on 24/3, it uploaded new icons, and now I can't answer phone calls at all. I've tried reset and it didn't help

Welcome to Android Central! You might want to start a new thread in the S8 forum, since this is the S6 forum. Be sure to give more details about how you're unable to answer calls. Does the screen not respond to your touch? Does the answer icon move when you swipe, but nothing happens? Are you swiping far enough?

Has anyone found a resolution to this? I swipe and it looks like I've answered but the phone keeps ringing for the caller. Time is clicking off like the call is active on my phone. I set the home button to answer calls and it worked for a little while...now back to not being able to answer with the same situation whether using swipe or home button. This started about a month or so ago. There was no recent update at the time.
