Can't change network password on iPad

It's taking me way more than five minutes to install my Chromecast because Chrome is saving my wireless password and I can't type in the new one. I've tried going to settings and turning off save passwords and clearing my cache.

Seriously, could it be the iPad is the one saving the network? Try deleting the network from the iPad, reconnect[without saving it, if possible] and see if that works.

I'm just guessing because my iPad knowledge is limited.
