Can't charge the phone using the kickstand

I used the phone again today. It will sit on the kickstand upside down just fine. Everybody chill here.

umm you sure about that? The evo may balance in portrait, but it is not stable in any shape or form.

And the USB port is on the side, not on top.

Yeah, trying to stand my OG Evo up in portrait mode with the kickstand feels very flimsy. Normally it doesn't work at all, and when it does, it feels like it could topple over at any moment.

Watched your video walkthrough and it looks like the phone leans back quite a bit with the kickstand upside down (or in portrait) causing a weird viewing angle that almost requires you to either hover over the phone or prop something underneath it for a more practical viewing angle. Obviously this is due to the size of the kickstand. But in essence causes only one practical mode to use the kickstand; landscape charging port facing down. Not nit-picking, just pointing out something I noticed in relation to the kickstand on the Thunderbolt.

The screen also apparently has amazing off axis viewing angles.

I don't think you have to worry unless the phone is far in front of you.


Actually the angle doesn't look bad at all.
